Herbin "D" Inks

These watersoluble, colorful inks are safe for fountain, cartridge and dip pens. Each elegantly labeled bottle has in integrated pen rest. The “D” refers to the old French unit of measure, “la Demi Courtine”. Not lightfast.

Dr. Martin's Synchromatic Transparent Inks

Gwen Weaver used the Prussian blue ink from this line with both a Mitchell pen and a Ruling Writer. Her Mitchell work was the expected blue but the broad strokes of color were blue AND copper! An investigative call to the manufacturer revealed that several of their colors have a metallic second color when a heavy, broad application is made. Very dramatic effect. The following colors have similiar effects: Purple, Scarlet, Carmine, and Prussian Blue. This works on Fabriano Ingres paper but does not change colors on all papers. 1/2 oz. bottles.

Lightfast, transparent, mixable colors for use with technical pens, brush, airbrush, pens. Non-clogging, extra-brilliant. Colors: Daffodil, Scarlet, Rose, Rhodamine (Magenta), Turquoise, Indigo, April Green, Spruce, Antelope, Black. Excellent for the Masterfield saran wrap technique. A favorite of Judy Melvin’s for writing with bleach. Lay down a bed of color, let dry, write in the color with bleach as your ink. 1 oz. dropper bottle.
