This solidly made table-top drawing table works as a portable, compact slant board and as a lightbox when a light source is added. Durably constructed of smoothly finished American hardwood, our easel features seven settings for your choice of angles. We recommend the 18" under-the-counter fluorescent light as it is 1 1/2" thick and can simply be set on the table behind the plexiglass. Easel size is 18" x 24"

Thanks to Edna Borge who introduced this amazing desk to us in class at Black & White last summer. Although it was designed for holding canvas, it makes a versatile calligraphy desk for travel, storage and for accommodating oversize projects. Work angle is adjustable and the upper and lower bars (which hold a masonite or plexiglas piece you add) hold work up to 34” tall and any size width. It locks up snugly for travel like a small wooden suitcase with handle. Easy to access side drawer for storage; made from seasoned hardwood. Folded dimensions are 16”x14”x5”.
