Watercolor
Watercolor papers have been made in Europe for 400-600 years to exacting standards by the Fabriano, Arches, Lana and St Cuthberts (Waterford) Mills.By definition, watercolor paper is made to withstand the abuse of water/paint/ink applied to its surface. Each of the following watercolor papers is 100% cotton, neutral pH and measures 22x30". Suitable for calligraphy, drawing, printmaking as well as water media.
Hot Press - Extremely smooth finish; recommended for all calligraphy pensincluding pointed pens for copperplate.
Cold Press - Textured surface; recommended for medium to large pens and for brush calligraphy. Most often used surface for watercolor painting.
Rough Highly - textured surface; use when a broken, dry brush effect with lettering is desired or for painting of all kinds.
