The six color metallic set (FNGLDS) has startlingly beautiful golds: Tibet Gold, Inka Gold, Arabic Gold, Gold Pearl, Evening Gold and Sterling Silver. Several of these are unique to this set, not in any other brand of pearlescent watercolor set.

The FN600S Set includes Atlas red (russet), Regal bronze, Mother of Pearl pink, Silver Pearl, Shining reseda (soft green), and Shining aquamarine. The last four colors are good for overpainting or work best alone on dark papers as they are iridescent interference colors.

The F6PALE Set has six iridescent interference colors: jade moiree, copper moiree, purple moiree, Atlantic blue moiree, pink moiree, sun yellow moiree. Use these for overpainting- giving a pearly shine -- or on dark papers for best effect.

The new Scripsit on Sheila Waters has arrived and made its debut with Paper & Ink Arts during Brenda's visits to the Portland, OR and  Olympia, WA guilds and Letters of Joy near Seattle. All our copies on hand were purchased!

This is the complete retrospective show of Sheila Waters' life and art since she was a young woman. The extensive show hung at Strathmore Hall in Bethesda, MD last year. Each work was carefully scanned and Sheila's created a text/commentary. The text is printed in type designed by Julian Waters based on Sheila's Carolingian.

In early 2010 we developed these three new sizes to give more options in the Parallel Pen series. Our first supply sold out at the Letters California Style Conference in February where they made their debut.
