Recommended and inspired by Stan Knight's input, these carbon tool steel quill knives have been hand forged to a delicate geometry and hardened to a fine balance of hardness and resiliency excellent for the job of cutting quills. Handles are made from Western maple from lush timber in northern Washington. If you are right handed but push your quill knife away from you rather than towards you, you may want to order the left-handed knife. Specify left or right.
