This assortment of eighteen 3.8mm colored leads are instantly and totally water-soluble; any line drawn with these leads is completely water soluble.  The highly saturated pigments are permanent when dry which means additional layers of Museum colors can be added without activating the underlayers. Other mediums such as gouache can be used on top of the colors. The colors are exceptionally lightfast in dry or wet use. This remarkable set features all the characteristics of the highest grade professional watercolor with the control of a sharpenable lead. Suggested techniques include watercolor painting, washes, crosshatching, unlimited blending possibilities, mixed media, dry or wet drawing on all paper or canvas. Metal box set includes three lead holders with integrated sharpener, a small squirrel hair brush, eraser, tube of white gouache, glass tube for transporting leads, a mixing pan, two water-soluble graphite pencils (B & 3B) and a brochure describing techniques.
