FW Acrylic Ink, a couple colors
Your favorite edged pens and holders, parallel pens are fine, too.
Other types of fabric paint you may have on hand-Jacquare, Lumiere, or Dye Na Flow
Large brushes for smearing on paint-old ones are good
A flat brush and a pointed brush-not real expensive
Fine point black Sharpie and a couple of gel pens if you have them
Purple disappearing ink pen for fabric-round-found at JoAnn's on the notions wall
Scissors, ruler, pins, paper towels, apron
Cheap plastic table cloth
A couple water containers
Pipettes or eye dropper
2 small 6-well plastic palettes
Some black an white color copies of photos you might want to include in your work (toner and inkjet)
I like DRILL CLOTH (utility cloth)from JoAnn's, $5.99 a yard, a couple yards or more found near the canvas section (any smooth cotton canvas would work,too.) I will have some in your kit and some for sale
One yard of 100% muslin
Old book pages
A needle and thread to embellish your work
Some fabric scraps
Interesting paper scraps
Also, bring a sense of openness and a loosely composed list of what you'd like to have happen to you artistically in the future!
I will also have special pens for fabric for sale in class.
If you are driving, we could use the following:iron, press cloth, portable sewing machine filled with bobbins and thread.
