Excellent pad for calligraphy! Had trouble looking for papers to practice calligraphy because they would bleed or fibers would get stuck in the nibs. This one is so smooth, eventually and some inks do make the fiber get stuck but it's minimum.

when I first began calligraphy, I was unsure which paper to use. There is such a variety available. After a quick internet search, I found Rhodia to be held in high regard within the calligraphy community. After using it, i see why! Its the "work horse" paper. I havent yet found an ink it doesn't hold well. Its great paper.
