I have found this gadget to be a real timesaver, especially on dark envelopes when I use a white erasable marker to mark the lines. Even on lighter envelopes, the guidelines are quickly drawn and easily disappear with an art gum eraser. It is sturdy plastic and comes with a storage envelope.
