This is my first experience with drawing gum. I wanted something cheap and small to experiment with. This was a good option. It applies and removes easily with brush or dip pen nib and leaves mostly sharp, crisp lines. Simply rub off with finger or rubber cement pickup. I use this most to create reversed color calligraphic text (so I write with it, paint over it, then remove it) and was worried it might stop up my pen nibs. I've used pointed and wedge with this product, but as long as I'm cleaning the nib regularly and well, I've had no problems. I've also experimented with brush application, yielding similar success. I don't recommend using super nice brushes with this fluid though, as not all of it comes off, especially once it gets down deep into the barrel. Lastly, make sure to read all of the super helpful instructions on the back of the bottle! There's good information on how to use the fluid and also how to best prepare your brush for use with the fluid. This was definitely a fun purchase that's given me a total new avenue for my work. I definitely recommend it and don't regret trying it out. Will likely buy more once my current jar is depleted.
