Learn to make a beautiful coptic and French link stitch journal. This handmade book can be used for any of your needs, including journaling, sketching, photos, and more. Design your cover with ice and eco-dyed bookcloth, which I will provide, or special papers or fabric you may want to bring.
Learn to make a beautiful coptic and French link stitch journal. This handmade book can be used for any of your needs, including journaling, sketching, photos, and more. Design your cover with ice and eco-dyed bookcloth, which Terry will provide, or special papers or fabric you may want to bring.
Terry will provide a kit which will have already cut bookboard and paper as well as rulers, thread and wax to wax the thread, curved needles, and a hole punching tool all of which will need to be shared by the class. Students can bring any of those tools which they may already have. In addition, students may wish to bring any special papers or fabric they wish to use to cover their bookboard. Also bring any buttons, beads, charms, shells, feathers, trinkets or anything else they wish to incorporate into their books and/or the covers.
Any other materials and supplies such as glue, papers, inks can be purchased at Paper & Ink Arts.

Cost: $75 + $10 materials fee that can be paid to Kornman on the day of the class.

- Teacher supplies: Bookboard and signatures, waxed thread, dyed bookcloth, heat 'n' bond
- Students supply: Special papers or fabric, trinkets including beads, charms, feathers, shells, ribbon, paper for end papers, paper, glue, inks, curved needles, awl, glue brushes, and thread if student prefers a different color than what I provide.
