Harvest Crittenden - Advanced Spencerian Lettering
The Advanced Spencerian class is an extension of Beginning Spencerian class for individuals interested in furthering their penmanship skills. The focus of the class will be an in-depth study of alternate letter-forms, advanced entry and exit strokes suitable for the underlying principal strokes that make up the capitals, and a small bit of decorative work. We will NOT be going over the basic forms of the capitals themselves as that was offered in the Beginning Spencerian class. The focus in this class is the letter-forms themselves. Due to the elevated level of instruction, I ask that a person must have either participated in a previous Spencerian class, or have a good understanding of the underlying principal strokes of the capital letter-forms.
