Pilot Parallel Pen Radius-Cut

The Pilot Parallel Pen is a remarkable and durable tool that offers crisp edges, sharp hairlines and a totally reliable, smooth flow of ink for beginners and seasoned lettering artists. These custom pens has been cut into an offset scroll style. With a continuous cartridge ink feed, making split-pen lettering has never been easier.

In a typical dip or cartridge pen, ink travels through one or more slits in the nib and feeds across the writing edge. Skipping (non-delivery of the ink) can occur, particularly in larger pens. The parallel pen has a totally different construction. Ink flows between two layers of metal lying on top of each other, delivering ink to the entire writing edge without fail.

These radius varieties have been custom cut with a curved shape that for beautiful experimental and gestural work. The shape allows the pressure on the stroke to affect the ink flow. Since we have modified these products from their original factory condition, all original factory packaging is included but may not apply specifically to these products. Each pen comes with one black ink cartridge, one red ink cartridge, one pen cleaner pipette, one nib cleaner, and an instruction booklet.
