A 2B or 2 HB and 4H pencils
Pencil sharpener
A small set of Prismacolor Artists Quality colored pencils (or similar) or 2 warm and 2 cool colors of Prismacolor colored pencils (or similar). We will be layering on top of these with water-based media so avoid watercolor pencils.
Soft Chalk Pastels not oil pastels. Choose 3-6 colors of your choice. Choose deep hues that are saturated with color. Avoid pale hues. Pan pastels are expensive but well worth it. A small set of Alpha Color Pastels or Mungyo brands are fine. Avoid Nupastel brand. (Rebecca will bring extra pastels to share)
- sheet of sandpaper 220 or finer. This will be for grinding stick pastels.
Tombo Mono Zero Eraser or Tuff Stuff eraser or General's Factis Mechanical Eraser or Pentel Click Eraser if you cant find one of the other 3 (they are the fine tip white erasers that are housed in a retractable case). My favorite is Tombo Mono Zero
Staedtler Mars White Plastic eraser
Kneaded eraser

Pointed brushes, bring a variety of small to medium sizes (also known as round brushes). They will be used with acrylics and ink.
8 oz bottle of Golden brand Matte Medium or similar (you will use about 1/3 of this so you might consider splitting)
Black ink (Sumi, India or Higgins Eternal are fine)
Sharp xacto knife #11 or #16 with extra blades (or similar)
Roll of Scotch Magic Tape green label (must be this brand, size and kind) Do not buy blue label removeable.
