Through the Artist's Eyes: Discover the Beauty of Line with David Morrison

9am – 4pm
This one-day workshop will focus on developing observation skills though linework. We will use botanical subject matter to develop color pencil line drawings. Afterwards we will use watercolor to enhance the drawings.
Supplies:
- Prismacolor Premier Pencils (Please sharpen in advance)
3 @ PC941 Light Umber
PC 935 Black
PC 947 Dark Umber
PC 943 Burnt Ochre
PC1034 Goldenrod - Please bring a pencil sharpener: I recommend a Staples Power Pencil Sharpener 356332, Extreme Electric, Heavy Duty, Black (21834)-This is the one I been using, works well.
- One sheet of 600 sandpaper
- Watercolor: Your choice of watercolor, brushes and mixing palette
- Bring a container for water.
- Paper: Legion Papers will supply Stonehenge Paper for the workshop
- Portable desk light: OttLite Portable LED Task Lamp or similar recommended
