Everything I’ve Tried with Vellum with Denise Walser-Kolar
Thursday, October 16, 2025
1:30pm – 4:30pm
Come spend a fun afternoon playing with vellum - no experience necessary. We will try out Micron pens, Graphitint, gouache, and watercolor on different kinds and colors of vellum. All you need to bring is a good brush - all other supplies will be provided.
Supplies:
- Brush My favorite brush is a Raphael 8408 Kolinsky Sable, #4 - I use it for everything and highly recommend it (make sure it’s the one with the cream colored handle tip – not the orange-colored tip). These are currently very difficult to find. I have also used the #4 Dragon’s Tongue brush.
Optional Supplies:
- Magnifying glass (optional)
- Ott light (optional) – lighting in conference meeting rooms can be less than ideal
