Ash Calligraphy Guideline
I had originally rated this star a 3/5, simply due the fact that it is a really helpful product. However, after leaving it in a binder's inside pouch, along with the Engrosser ruler by Aquino da Silva, I noticed that I had yet another crack in an odd spot, where you wouldn't expect a crack form on a plastic guideline So, I respectfully have to lower my score to 2/5:stars. Down one star, but I still give credit to the company for attempting to bring new, helpful products to the market. This is a good product for beginners, or lazy people like me who do not want to waste time getting the layout correct. Also, in full honesty, I noticed that this product came either by itself, or in a group of 5. So I expected the low quality, and made my own out of blank stencil pages from Hobby lobby. I also bought some lexan from lowes, and cut.a few pieces of lexan at 55°.

Ash Calligraphy Stencil
I have to agree with the reviewer who left comments on the 5 pack of these stencils (btw, why have 2 UPC codes when one stencil costs $12.00, and the advertised price for a package of 5 is $60? Not exactly bargain material). Everything is easy to trace, until you get down to the 55 degree slant lines. I actually used a .5mm pencil to begin with for the slants, and kept breaking my led. I eventually had to resort to using a Pilot Parallel Pen (Not recommending anybody do this), turned sideways, and just ran it up and down the slant lines. I've had mine for about a week now, and already have a broken slant line (from left to right, it is broken where slant number 3 and the last line almost make contact. I gave a 3 rating because I"m lazy, and these do a good job of at least giving me the lines to work with. I just use the Engrossers Script Ruler from Anthony something or other to put my lines in.
