I tried Moon river since many said it was so good for hairlines. I can be (eg on Rhodia)- but it tends to bleed on even good quality cartridge paper (my practice paper). This vermillion ink however, comes out beautiful no matter what paper I use it on - wonderfully fine hairlines, deep swells on quality cartridge paper, Rhodia, -very old "premium" paper wausau bright white...and every other paper I've tried it on. I think this and walnut will be my basic ink sets once I finish out my sumi ink.

This ink was highly recommended by a teacher and didn’t not disappoint, is absolutely awesome to work with! The color is a deep orange, just as the package:)
