This wonderful ink by Yasutomo is somewhat similar to Sumi ink in both color and performance. Specially made for Chinese art techniques, these inks are good for painting, calligraphy, and drawing. The ink comes in two shades. Ultra Black (almost double the carbon) is a super dense black ink, and Black is less dense for lighter washes. When the ink dries on absorbent paper, it cna be wet mounted. Because these are both pigment inks, not dye inks, they should not be used in refillable pens. These inks are not acrylic, nor are there acrylic properties or ingredients in them. 180ml bottles.

Favorite Sumi
This is my favorite black sumi ink. I prefer this over the Moon Palace, which is more glossy. This is such a deep and dark black and not very glossy. The scent of the ink is also medicinal but not as strong as Moon Palace's.

Like black cream.
I bought this to try sumi ink. It's almost as thick as paint. Black and luscious but a bit reluctant to leave my dip nib. Perhaps I should dilute a tad.
