These gorgeous pearlescent colors are handcrafted in Germany and dissolve with water and a brush, just like traditional watercolors. Lightfast, pigment-rich, and can adhere to a variety of surfaces, including paper, wood, cardboard, clay, and stone. FINETEC watercolors work great with brushes and dip pens; simply brush the color onto your nib to use it as a calligraphy ink. For best results, squeeze a few drops of water onto the surface of the watercolor and allow it to sit for a few minutes before using.
Most colors show up vibrantly on both dark and light papers. Some colors appear differently on different colored surfaces. Color chart below showcases each FINETEC watercolor on both black and white paper.

Fairy Review
Stunning pearlescent pigment. On white paper, the pearlescent colors shift between a purple/pink and a rose gold. The purple has shimmery flakes and it is truly magical in the light. The rose gold is gentler with less of the shimmery effect. Opaque but not super intense because of the delicate colors. Dissolves fairly easily into water and functions great as calligraphy ink.
