The Hunt 513EF is a reliable, uniform globe nib with an extra-fine point. Fairly stiff, but durable and long-lasting. Low line variation makes this nib more suitable for modern calligraphy styles than Copperplate or Spencerian. An excellent choice for beginner calligraphers, as well as for use on textured surfaces.
Due to it's large size, the 513EF may not fit in most standard holders; we recommend the Speedball Straight Holder or one of our adjustable oblique holders.

Big & Beautiful
This nib is great if youve got a heavy hand since it's pretty rigid. Also, it is quite large and therefore hold a nice amount of ink.
