The Hiro 40 nib tends to go by many names, including the Leonardt 40 or the Blue Pumpkin. Some calligraphers find this nib to be a less expensive duplicate of the Brause Steno 361 nib, which is very similar in appearance and performance.
The Hiro 40 is very flexible, requiring a gentle hand but capable of producing thick, beautiful swells. This nib produces decent hairlines and can be used for Copperplate, but it is better suited for modern calligraphy styles. Can hold a lot of ink, making re-dipping less frequent.

Great Nib!
I use this nib every day to write letters for my small calligraphy shop and it is my favorite go-to for basic writing. Great for beginners learning to use dip pen art as well1 Highly reccommend.

My go-to nib
I love Brause Blue Pumpkin and this is very similar in look and feel. Great beginner nib and so easy to use, I almost always reach for this one when testing inks and for quick calligraphy sessions. Can’t go wrong here!
