Drawing and Lettering Sketchbook - Kristen Doty
Overcome your fear of drawing and strengthen your calligraphy skills at the same time! Add unique drawn letters to pages, drawings and illustrations to sketchbook journals or broadsides, and strengthen drawing skills for painting. Confidence building exercises include mark making, drawing letterforms, and how to see and draw objects. Most of the exercises will be done in graphite, but color may be added to enhance the drawings. Using a simple Japanese binding with unique pocket covers, you will leave with a finished sketchbook that contains the exercises done in class with additional blank pages to continue with newly enhanced skills and drawing confidence.
