Z. Ingram - Dip Pen Calligraphy: Copperplate
Study the history of calligraphy and the beauty of Copperplate with Z. Ingram, RVA Calligraphy artist. We will start in late 1500s Europe, travel to the Americas and end in the very room we will learn in. Taking an approach from foundational basics, we will build on to them at a methodical pace, always leaving time for questions to be answered. Calligraphy is a beautiful way to express moods, celebrate past eras and locations. It can also be used in modern life as a way to slow down, be intentional and relax into the soothing sounds of pen on paper.
