Great sturdy nib
August 9, 2020
Great nib - sturdy like a Nikko G but a tad more flexible which I find makes it easier to work with. Creates beautifully thin upstrokes and can produce downstrokes of various thicknesses. Holds a decent amount of ink too so don't need to re-dip too often.
A good nib for beginners to use

This nib compared with the Nikko G and Tachikawa G has a more yellowish tinted coating. The Nikko G is the whitest. It writes very similar to the Tachikawa G and more flexible than the Nikko G. The Nib is so well made and well coated so it will last a long time. Actually all Japanese nib are so. I give it 4 out of 5 because it doesn't hold as much ink so I have to dip more often. But it's better than the Tachikawa G which I will give a 3 out of 5.
