And now I know why this nib is so famous! Dainty fine upstrokes and beautiful swelling downstrokes. You will need a pen holder made for tiny nibs but so worth it and there are a number of other delicate nibs you’ll need the holder for anyway. Once you get into small nibs you’ll want to keep going.

This nib allows for great flexibility with pen strokes, from very fine lines to proportionately larger swells, that are needed for Post-Renaissance scripts. I have used this nib mostly for letter or card size projects. Its very smooth finish allows for distinct lines without catching on the paper. Even thickening the ink a little does not impair its fine performance, but can increase its usefulness with different types of paper. It holds a reasonable amount of ink, so that a short sentence can be written without dipping again. Wiping the point clean while writing helps maintain a steady ink flow and reduces any risk of unintended blurriness. It is a tremendous amount of fun adding detailed flourishes with this nib.
