At the request of Carol DuBosch we now offer her simple and superlative penholder, perfect for classes operating on limited budgets. Over the past few years she has made 2000+ of them for her students. But make no mistake, this is a most simple, basic penholder made from an unfinished wooden dowel. Leave your nib in the penholder; you can afford lots!
Use a ballpoint pen to write the pen nib size and your name. Any rust that forms will be covered by the cushioned tubing. If you need to remove the nib, simply pull the tube off. Basic, sensible, and cheap! Compatible with standard pointed nibs, standard broad nibs, and the Brause EF66.
Approximate measurements: 5 7/8 OR 15 cm long | 0.5cm OR 0.25 wide.

We ship worldwide! International orders are subject to all applicable customs & duty taxes & fees. These fees are not included in the shipping price.
Orders placed online and by phone generally ship within 48-72 business hours. Paper and Ink Arts is closed on Saturday & Sundays, so orders placed over the weekend will begin shipping on the following Monday.
If there is an item in your order that is out of stock, we will contact you via email when your order is packed to allow you the choice of having your other items shipped or having your entire order held until your backordered item arrives.
Shipping charges are simply the standard UPS or USPS rate of shipping your package to your location based on the package's weight. Sheets of paper require a tube for shipping, thus your shipping rates will increase from the amount you see on your online order to compensate for the extra parcel. No handling charges are ever added.
If an item doesn’t suit you, package it carefully to avoid shipping damage. We’ll be glad to give you a full credit or refund for the price of the unopened/unused item. Please note:

Great affordable pen holder!
I've thought about buying the supplies to make my own after watching Carol show it to us inone of her Zoom classes. I'm so glad to find it here so I can just buy many! These are much better than the regular straight holders that often rust or the prongs get distorted. I love that we can keep the nib in these.

Alright for the price
This is a great substitute to a regular pen handle, of course though with the low price. It's a bit difficult to put and remove the nibs but it gets the job done.
